Everyone was poised and ready, including the guest who were all as excited as the contestants.
The first contestant, Chief Advisor - Alba TM, CTM/CL Mohd Mahmood gave an insight into the real secret behind his success and baldness with an outrageous tale.
The 2nd participant was TM Parijat with his speech titled "Single Pack Abs". The 3rd contestant was DTM Jawad who met the devil at Bahrain International Airport who was running away from Bahrain because of some outlandish reasons.
The 4th and 5th participants were sesoned TM's CTM, CL Yogesh and CTM K.M. Khaji and they went overboard with there tales of a quite realistic vertical airport and a tale of a potter and a hunter which is difficult to summarize.
By now CTM S. Hazem and CTM Fadel Ameenwere all smiles not only because of the hilarious and funny speeches but also I guess they had aces up there slevees. The Master of Ceremonies moved forward with the next participant TM Fadel Ameen who was followed by the was TM S. Hazem about his trip to hell where he met and fought TM Prachur for a place in one of the better hell rooms.
Sayed had everyone rolling in waves of laughter and by now the mood was all set.
The guest had all warmed up to the occasion and enjoyed it a lot. This was visible on the face of all present.
After TM Sayed, the contest was over and Master of Ceremonies moved ahead with the swearing in of the two new members Batool Ahmed Khalil and Ahmed Ali Ahmed.
Swearing in was conducted by CTM Nabeel, VP - Membership of Alba TM. All members agreed to swearing them in and found nothing against them.
The members then took a pledge to help the new members integrate and develop to there full potential - to the best of there capabilities.
The Chief Advisor and CTM/CL Mohd. Mahmood then welcomed the new members by pinning there induction pins, presenting certificates and basic manuals ordered specifically for the occasion.
After this the Chief Guest CTM/CL Baldev Arora was facilitated by CTM/CL Sayed Abbas Al Alawi for coming in with his Judges to conduct the contest.
Now was the time to announce the winner only after the fact that there ahd been 2 disqualifications due to overtime.
Daniel Sulaiman Asgher Hassan, Manager Carbon 1-3 Operations facilitated TM Fadel Ameen for his 3rd place win.
The second place crown went to TM Mohd Mahmood, who was facilitated by Mohd Shuja, Head of Planning & Services who is always supportive of Alba TM with his gracious presence.
And the winner was TM Sayed Hazem...
So ended the contest - a day of fun, laughter and TALL TALES of course...
